The Michelmores 5k Charity Run returned on Thursday 7 September 2023 in the beautiful grounds of Powderham Castle, near Exeter. This iconic venue provided the perfect backdrop to come together with colleagues, family and friends in the great outdoors and raise money for our charity partner, FearFree, who are working to break the cycle of abuse across the South West.
Wellbeing, inclusivity and sustainability really matter to Michelmores, and formed the foundations of this year’s event. Those aged 14 years+ and of all fitness levels were invited to jog or run the route.
Many of our runners looked forward to a competitive event and this year was no exception. We encouraged green travel and all runners signed up received a race t-shirt, made from recycled materials, in their runners pack.
