New COVID visa guidelines

The Home Office has published new guidance for visa customers and applicants in the UK, visa customers outside of the UK and British nationals overseas who need to apply for a passport affected by travel restrictions associated with coronavirus.

Previous guidance established that, until 30 November 2020, individuals would be able to:

1. Apply for a visit visa from any UK visa application centre (VAC); and
2. Apply for any other type of UK visa from any VAC overseas if their centre is closed due to coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic restrictions.

This update confirms the above concessions are thankfully being extended until 31 March 2021.
