Michelmores is pleased to have acted on behalf of Thrive Renewables Plc in its latest crowdfunding campaign, hosted on the Triodos Crowdfunding platform. In 2023, Thrive announced that it would double the amount of clean energy capacity it funds by 2028 – Thrive has secured development rights for projects that will take its total capacity from 91.5 to 170.1MW by 2027. The latest crowdfunded share offer is part of broader capital raising plans to enable Thrive to fund the construction of these projects and start them generating renewable electricity in 2027.
Thrive Renewables, a leader in renewable energy investment, intends to continue developing its portfolio of sustainable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage.
Alexandra Watson, Corporate Partner at Michelmores, said:
“We are proud to have supported Thrive Renewables in its latest crowdfunding campaign. Thrive continues to be at the forefront of green energy investments, and we’re excited to help them grow their impact in the transition to a net zero economy.”
The crowdfunding campaign is part of Thrive’s ongoing efforts to democratise clean energy investment and accelerate the UK’s shift to net zero.
