Michelmores has advised the shareholders of Prydis Accounts Limited on its merger with TC Group, one of the UK’s leading accountancy and advisory businesses.
The transaction forms part of TC Group’s ongoing growth strategy and further strengthens its presence across the South West. Prydis Accounts has been delivering accountancy, tax and business advisory services to individuals and businesses across the region for decades, with offices in Exeter, Liskeard and Newquay.
Following the merger, Prydis Accounts’ clients will continue to be supported by their existing local teams while also benefiting from access to TC Group’s wider national and international network.
The Michelmores team advising on the transaction was led by Chris Smedley, Managing Associate in the Corporate team, supported by Stephen Morse, Partner, and Sabrina Fox, Associate, with specialist advice from Cathy Bryant, Partner (Corporate Tax) and Joe Taylor, Legal Director, and Jess Chadwick, Associate (Real Estate).
