Michelmores advises Lune & Wild on its Series A funding round led by Guinness Ventures

Michelmores has advised Lune & Wild, a baby and children’s food scale-up, on its £2m Series A funding round led by Guinness Ventures.

Founded in 2021 by cousins Lara Rodgers and Nadia Simonds, Lune & Wild is an organic baby and children’s food brand built on chef-crafted recipes, specialist paediatric nutrition and ingredient sourcing. The business was founded off their shared frustration that baby and children’s food had for too long been an afterthought, high in ‘free’ sugars, and lacking in favour, variety and nutrition.

The new funding will support the business to significantly increase production capacity while maintaining its hands-on, chef-led approach. Investment will also be directed towards accelerating retail launches, including its recent Ocado.com listing, alongside marketing and key team hires.

Since launch, Lune & Wild has doubled revenue every year and sold over one million meals in the last 12 months. As well as its direct-to-consumer channel, products are available on Ocado.com, in family clubs, cafés, delis and farm shops, and in 15 nurseries across London and the Home Counties.

Michelmores had advised the company since its pre-seed investment round in 2022, following which the company also raised investment from MAINstream, the UKBAA angel network operated by Michelmores. The Michelmores Corporate team was led by Partner, Harry Trick, with support from Gruff Cartwright and Emma Cheshire (both Associates).
