In force since October 2023, the Building Safety Act affects all construction projects in England and Scotland and is arguably the biggest piece of legislation to affect the Construction Sector in a decade. There are now nine Statutory Instruments under the Building Safety Act which dictate how all construction projects, which are subject to the Building Regulations, should be managed from a health and safety perspective.

This webinar outlines the wide range of obligations arising from these Statutory Instruments in respect of ‘higher-risk buildings’ and ‘non higher-risk buildings’. Our team explain what you need to know about the Act and how it should be applied on all current and future projects. They look at applicability and sanctions of the BSA, the processes and requirements for non higher-risk buildings and the processes and requirements for higher-risk buildings and tell the viewer who is responsible, what they must do and how might it affect you if your business gets it wrong in respect of each topic.
