Michelmores has appointed Noel Beale as a Partner in its Commercial team within the Firm’s Business group.
Noel offers expert advice to a wide variety of clients across competition and economic regulatory matters nationally and internationally. This is founded on over 25 years of experience advising on competition law and regulatory compliance and investigations, as well as merger control strategy and National Security & Investment Act clearances. He provides practical and constructive advice that assists businesses and others with negotiating the risks and complexities that can arise in these areas, enabling them to get on with achieving their goals.
Having trained at a large London law firm and previously worked in-house at Ofwat, Noel has hands on experience of both sides of competition and regulatory investigations and compliance matters including a range of advisory and contentious scenarios. Noel’s experience spans multiple different sectors, often involving complex and high value business critical matters and working collaboratively with counsel, economists and other advisers and law firms globally. Noel has a particular specialism in the UK water sector, having been involved in many aspects of market opening and the development of price reviews over the last 15 years.
