Q: What is my holiday entitlement?

A: Support staff receive 22 days holiday per annum, plus 8 annual Bank Holidays. This entitlement rises by one extra day per year after twelve months' service, for each of the next 3 years, which means that support staff reach the maximum entitlement of 25 days holiday per annum after 3 years' service.

Staff are also entitled to buy or sell up to five days holiday every year and get a day off for their birthday.

Can I apply for roles on a flexible basis?

We are open to considering reduced hours or flexible working arrangements for any of our vacancies and would encourage you to speak to our Recruitment Business Partner, Craig Davey, if you would like to explore the opportunity to apply for a role on a flexible basis.

Q: What social activities are there?

Lots! These are split between client events, where you will have an opportunity to be involved, and internal events for staff, to which you are always welcome! The former include some of the most successful corporate events in the South West – an annual 5k charity run which attracts over 1,000 runners, the annual Michelmores Property Awards, and a quarterly business breakfast club: previous speakers have included Anne Widdecombe, Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope, Lord Digby Jones and Ann Daniels, the polar explorer.

The staff events include regular informal drinks, a spectacular summer party, garden parties, an annual quiz, treasure hunt etc. Additionally, all departments have an annual team building day out of the office.

Q: When is my salary reviewed?

A: Salaries are reviewed in March/April each year, with any changes to salary taking effect from 1 May.

Q: What are your pension arrangements?

A: We offer a Group Personal Pension Plan, which you are eligible to join upon successful completion of your probationary period.

Q: Do you have a bonus scheme?

A: Yes. Our bonus scheme for employees has three key strands - an annual firm-wide element based on the firm's performance, a strand to recognise one-off individual contributions and one to recognise consistent high performance. You will be given more information about each strand upon joining the firm.

Q: Do you pay travel expenses for interviewees?

A: No. However, in circumstances where a candidate is not located near the office, we can consider interviewing via video conference.
