Malcolm is the Firm's Managing Partner.
He joined Michelmores in 1989. Prior to that, Malcolm trained as a Solicitor in the City, and then became a legal adviser at the American multi-national, Gillette, providing legal advice on a wide range of matters throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Malcolm has advised on all forms of corporate finance work relating to mergers and acquisitions, and a broad range of corporate and commercial work. He was appointed Managing Partner in 2009, and before that was Head of the Business Group.
Malcolm is responsible for implementation of the Firm's strategy, and launched the Firm's new five year strategy, known as the 2020 Vision. Under the first seven years of Malcolm's leadership, the Firm has grown its turnover by 72%.

- Formulating the 2020 Vision for the Firm, with the objective of becoming a leading law Firm in the South, with a significant London presence.
- Growing the international reach of the Firm, with a particular emphasis on Africa, Canada, China, and emerging markets.
- Leading the Firm's opening of a Bristol office, which has now grown to 8 Partners and over 30 people since opening in October 2012.
