Congratulations to Exeter Mathematics School and Samuel Jones Smoke & Ale House, Exeter, joint winners of the Heritage Project of the Year category at the Michelmores Property Awards 2015.

Exeter Mathematics School – submitted by Kier Construction

Exeter Mathematics School is an academically stimulating, student-centred, collaborative working community. The school’s focus, first and foremost, is to provide an education that enables gifted young mathematicians to flourish and succeed. The project has provided a high quality learning environment, which incorporates the character of an historic building and an inspiring learning space. 

Samuel Jones Smoke & Ale House, Exeter – submitted by St Austell Brewery

Samuel Jones Craft Ale and Smoke & Ale House which opened in November 2014, is a waterside venue developed within a Victorian warehouse on Exeter Quay. Combining contemporary architectural vision with sensitivity to the building’s heritage and the unique setting of Exeter Quay, Samuel Jones provides a new 300-cover retail offer based around world class craft beers and freshly prepared locally sourced food.
