Oscar winning screenwriter and acclaimed actor, Lord Julian Fellows joined members of Michelmores private client team to support an exclusive event at Gidleigh Park Hotel which raised a record amount of £22,891 for Families for Children, a voluntary Devon based Adoption Agency.
Families for Children has been Michelmores’ Charity of the Year for 2012 and 2013 and through a variety of fundraising events, including the Michelmores 5K run, the award-winning law firm has raised nearly £70,000 for the charity.
The event, which took place in October 2013, was organized by the John Casson Foundation at Gidleigh Park where 70 distinguished guests enjoyed an entertaining and memorable talk from the award winning writer and Dowton Abbey actor.
