Michelmores has been shortlisted in two categories at the Legal Business Awards 2024, for Marketing Initiative of the Year and Regional/Offshore Firm of the Year.
The 27th annual Legal Business Awards celebrates the very best in the legal profession and is a prestigious event in the legal calendar. Michelmores’ shortlistings are in respect of the Firm’s “unwavering dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and legal excellence”, Legal Business says.
Details of the firm’s two nominations are:
-
Marketing Initiative of the Year
This category is open to law firms, chambers and in-house legal teams as well as external marketing and PR agencies that advise the legal profession. Judges will be looking for evidence of one specific campaign or initiative that has delivered tangible results for a legal client during 2023.
The Firm’s shortlisting in this category is in respect of Michelmores’ new brand, developed in parallel with the Firm’s new strategy, Destination 2030, to position ourselves as the destination law firm for clients navigating change to find a positive future. Michelmores believes that it can be values-led and combine profit with purpose, for the benefit of its clients, people, and communities. The new brand has brought that proposition to life.
-
Regional/Offshore Firm of the Year
This award highlights the UK-based regional or offshore firm (with headquarters outside of London) that has made the most significant progress over the past year in advancing its strategy. Key factors taken into account will be evidence of effective leadership, impressive financial performance and increased market share.
Michelmores, which has nearly 500 people across offices in Bristol, Cheltenham, Exeter and London, has been nominated in this category for continuing to perform well financially with robust and sustainable growth.
The Firm is committed to ensuring that everyone in the Firm feels a sense of belonging; and ensuring that the different generational and cultural needs of individuals are respected. In May 2024 the representation of women at Partner level at Michelmores was 49% and 68% at Senior Associate level, as part of the Firm’s ongoing commitment to gender balance.
Tim Richards, Michelmores’ Managing Partner, says:
“Our inclusion on the shortlist for these two categories serves as a testament to our outstanding accomplishments, setting a remarkable standard for excellence within the industry. I look forward to the Awards and celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of Michelmores.”
The Legal Business Awards 2024 take place on Tuesday 17 September 2024 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
