Creating a culture of wellbeing is central to our ethos at Michelmores. We are committed to fostering a workplace that prioritises positive wellbeing, where everyone is comfortable to bring their authentic selves to work and is supported to reach their full potential.
We work with leading organisations to support our wellbeing approach, policies and training courses. We are signatories of the Mindful Business Charter, whose mission is to remove unnecessary sources of stress and promote better mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
The Firm has Wellbeing Champions across all offices, trained by the City Mental Health Alliance, of which we are also members. All Champions have attended specialist training and are a first point of contact for colleagues who need support, or just a chat with a friendly face.
We are currently working with Henpicked, a provider of specialist menopause training and support resources. In 2022 we launched our Menopause Champion scheme, bringing together colleagues who are passionate about raising awareness of the menopause and offering support to anyone affected by the menopause, either directly or indirectly.
