The energy team at law firm Michelmores LLP has acted for Downing LLP in making available approximately £22 million to invest into four solar PV projects across the country.
Downing, which specialises in tax-efficient investments, has raised in excess of £1 billion from over 20,000 UK investors in its more than 25 year history, and currently has around £500 million under management. It has invested alongside Oxford Capital Partners on each of the projects. Three are currently under construction and one is already commissioned. Partner Ian Holyoak and associate Alexandra Watson led the Michelmores’ team.
