Michail is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate department and is a senior Competition, Public Procurement and EU State aid and Trade law specialist.
Michail has significant public and private sector experience working on international transactions and dealing successfully with domestic and overseas Competition and other Regulators. He specialises in public sector – advising government departments, local authorities, NHS Trusts and other public bodies and private clients in the areas of transport, construction, property, real estate, energy and retail.
- Advising a major UK Police force on their procurement of Digital ICT business solutions. Strategic and commercial advice enabling client to launch the procurement process on time.
- Advising (legal opinion) Development Agency on State aid received from DCLG and ERDF for the building and operation of an advance R&D&I centre and enabling client to State aid requirements of the funders.
- Advising client under a CMA cartel investigation – particularly a potential settlement agreement and helping them navigate through the process in light of inside operational knowledge and experience.
