Ben is a Trainee Solicitor in the Tax, Trusts and Succession Team.
Prior to becoming a Trainee with the firm, Ben was a Paralegal within the Property Litigation Team assisting with all aspects of contentious commercial and residential property work. His primary focus surrounded Landlord and Tenant matters and in particular included Break Notices, Dilapidations Settlements and Boundary disputes. Ben acted for a number of large national housing developers, public sector bodies and national charities.
Ben joined Michelmores in January 2017 after completing his LPC at the University of Law in Bristol. Before joining Michelmores, Ben worked for a large regional estate agency for two years.
Outside of the office, Ben has a keen interest in sport playing competitive hockey and cricket. He also completed a Tough Mudder in aid of Spinal Research.
- Providing property and estates legal services to the Ministry of Justice.
- Acting for a national developer on the unit sale of an 850 plot development in Yeovil to include estate management setup.
- Advising a national charity in relation to its acquisition of a residential property and continuing obligation as a Landlord.
- Completing a due diligence exercise in preparation for the disposal of a property portfolio consisting of over 1400 apartments across the UK.
