Amy Bridle


Amy is a Costs Assistant, working with the Costs Manager Sarah McKenna in the Clinical Negligence team. After joining Michelmores as an administrative assistant in 2008 she was quickly promoted to a role in the Debt Recovery team, before moving to her current position in February 2014.

Helping to develop and improve the process of costs recovery, Amy deals with external costs draftsmen and the Legal Aid Agency, preparing documentation and administering various aspects of the firm's data management systems. She is known for her efficiency, financial knowledge and ability to deliver the Clinical Negligence team's costs objectives effectively. 

Previously, Amy gained a BTEC National Diploma in early years childcare, working as a professional nursery assistant before turning her hand to retail. Since joining Michelmores she has earned a Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration.

Outside of work she likes to socialise – the word is out that she throws a good dinner party.

Recent Experience

  • Taking on responsibility for the administration of Legal Aid payments on account and disbursements.
  • Independently carrying out six-monthly costs reviews.
  • Assisting Costs Manager Sarah McKenna in a fast-moving, busy litigation team.
