Michelmores boosts its Chambers UK rankings for 2015
Michelmores has boosted its rankings in the independent Chambers & Partners UK legal guide for 2015 – with two new practice areas climbing up to 'Top Tier' status and a record number of lawyers singled out as 'Leading Individuals'.
Michelmores' Clinical Negligence and Real Estate teams have risen to 'Top Tier' status for Exeter and the surrounding areas, whilst the Education team has entered the UK-wide rankings for the first time, for its work with schools across the country.
The firm has also retained 'Top Tier' rankings for its Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Banking and Finance, Corporate/M&A, Employment, Information Technology, Intellectual Property, Private Client, Restructuring/Insolvency teams.
Overall, Michelmores achieved 11 'Top Tier' practice area rankings, with 36 lawyers named as 'Leading Individuals' − compared to 31 in 2014.
New 'Leading Lawyer' rankings for 2015, include: Antony Power (Band 4) − Education: Schools UK Wide, Charlotte Antoniou (Star Associate) − Education: Schools UK Wide; Louisa Ghevaert (Band 2) – Family/Matrimonial Exeter & Surrounds; Sara Chisholm-Batten (Associate to Watch) – Litigation Exeter & Surrounds; Emma Honey (Band 3) – Real Estate Exeter & Surrounds; Lucy Smallwood (Band 3) – Real Estate Exeter & Surrounds; Rob Nicholson (Band 2) – Real Estate Litigation Exeter & Surrounds.

The annual Chambers & Partners UK Guide independently ranks law firms and individuals, based on client interview feedback, research and firm submissions.
In addition to the Chambers 2015 results, Michelmores was recently ranked 89th in The Lawyer's Top 100 law firms according to turnover – rising 11 places from 2014.
