New High Sheriff of Devon appointed with Michelmores team appointed as key roles

Mrs Heleen Lindsay-Fynn was declared the 10th Lady High Sheriff of Devon in modern times in a Ceremony of Declaration at her family home in Budleigh Salterton in April 2017. 

Simon Barnett, Partner at Michelmores, was reappointed as the Under Sheriff of Devon, whilst Partner Tony Cockayne was appointed as the Deputy Under Sheriff. Lynn Gillard, PA at Michelmores, was appointed Clerk to the Devon Shrievalty.

The High Sheriff is appointed for a term of one year. For her year in office, Mrs Heleen Lindsay-Finn will attend Court and host High Court Judges when visiting the County, as well as work closely with the Police, HM Prison, HM Coroner and the Probation and Court Services. 

The ceremony was attended by the Lord Lieutenant, the Under Sheriff and guests. A total of nine previous Lady High Sheriffs of Devon were present at Heleen Lindsay-Fynn's Declaration.
