Our second Michelmores' 'Women in Rural Practice' Networking Event will be taking place on Thursday 27 February 2020 from 12.30.

Our second event is a two-course lunch at The Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester. We will be welcoming guest speaker, Nikki Jones, Chair of Avon Needs Trees and Bristol-based writer and activist on energy and climate change.

Climate change and the need to protect the environment is one of the defining issues that today's society faces. Avon Needs Trees is a registered charity based in Bristol that is buying land in the Bristol-Avon Catchment Area for reforesting, as a step towards tackling climate change. They are supported by The Environment Agency, The Woodland Trust, The Bristol-Avon Rivers Trust, the local Wildlife Trust and the local Friends of the Earth groups.

We hope you are able to join us for what will be an interesting and eye-opening lunch, which will also offer you the opportunity to network with like-minded female professionals in the rural sector.
