This programme will immerse you in practical, hands on learning experiences and is a springboard for collaborating and building relationships with other colleagues across the firm.
Our Essentials programme brings to life the culture and behaviors that are important to us which will fuel your ambition, creativity and confidence. Examples of modules include Developing a Growth Mind set, Professor BJ Fogg's ground breaking Tiny Habits, The Brilliance of Resilience and Thoughtful Delegation (linked to the Mindful Business Charter). This programme is open to all colleagues across the entire firm and is a great way to meet new colleagues from across our different offices/teams and build the skills you need to excel in your role.
We offer a bespoke approach to Leadership development and invest significantly in the Leadership skills of our Business Support Teams. The Firm's award for Excellence in Learning and Development in 2019 followed the roll out of a strategic development programme, Leading High Performing Teams. This programme encompassed a range of creative and innovative learning experiences and resources, aimed at fostering collaboration and peer-to-peer learning. We are also proud to be associated with prestigious Business Schools who support a number of our leaders to equip them with the insights, skills and techniques that help them to meet the demands of a modern leadership role and support them to operate at a more strategic level.
We offer a mentoring scheme which enables you to build connections, raise your profile, surface opportunities and create the perfect environment for developing your career and broader knowledge of the firm. All of our mentors and mentees receives training to support their mentoring journey to ensure that it gets off to the best possible start.
Those who wish to develop their professional skills are often provided with funding assistance to attend relevant external courses, for example this might include AAT training for a member of our Finance team, CIPD training for a member of our HR team, or CIM training for a member of our Marketing & Business Development team.

We offer a range of apprenticeship opportunities at Michelmores in areas including Business Administration, Accounting, Team Leading and Legal Administration.
Apprenticeships are a fantastic opportunity for you to gain valuable work experience, develop fundamental life skills, gain qualifications and earn a competitive apprentice wage. From day one you will be given full support and training as well as real responsibilities to enable you to become fully competent in your role.
All of our apprenticeships are delivered entirely on site, through work-based assessments and online modules, enabling you to become completely integrated in the Firm.
