BDW Trading Limited
A number of transactions including:
- Purchase of land at Willstock, Bridgwater for the residential development of up to 77 open market units.
- Purchase of land and site set-up at Warren Road, Dawlish Warren for residential development of open market and affordable housing units. Subsequently dealing with the plot sales and transfer of affordable housing.
- The sale of land at Lyde Road, Yeovil to Bloor Homes Limited for the residential development of up to 74 open market units.
- Completion of a sub-sale agreement conditional on planning for the purchase of land for residential development.
Cavanna Group Limited
The complex purchase of surplus holdings at Plymouth City Airport. The sale contract was conditional on the grant of a satisfactory planning permission both for the airside works and for the residential development and involved regular co-operation between our Commercial Property and Planning teams.
The matter was structured under a series of put and call options for both fiscal and accounting reasons, and a base value was paid with sales overage applicable to each phase. The values are confidential, but are well in excess of £10m.
The purchase was conditional on planning permission being granted and a complex Section 106 Agreement and planning conditions were negotiated.
The University of Exeter
- Development of Student Residences and academic facilities for foundation level foreign students and a related joint venture.
- A Strategic Partnering Agreement with the private sector for the transfer of existing Student Residences, the construction of new Student Residences and the operation of the Student Residences portfolio created by the transaction.
Ocean Housing Limited
Purchase of 26 plots of residential land for development as affordable housing at the former Merrymeat abattoir, Probus, Cornwall
Blue Cedar Homes Limited
Advising in connection with the Section 106 Unilateral Undertaking relating to a scheme of 11 retirement homes at Budleigh Salterton, Devon, subsequently setting up the estate scheme (under the NHBC Sheltered Housing Code) and dealing with the plot sales.
Nigel Eustice and others
Sale of land at Crantock, Newquay to a residential developer with the benefit of planning permission for 31 residential units (including affordable housing).
