Autumn Statement emphasises commitment of government to key infrastructure projects
As part of the National Infrastructure Plan, over 500 infrastructure projects are planned and the government also intends to leverage an additional £20 billion of private investment to finance new infrastructure.
The Kingskerswell bypass is amongst the infrastructure projects for the South West.

Shock decision for Arctic development proposals
In a shock decision the Arctic Council has granted planning consent for Father Christmas to expand his toy manufacturing plant at the North Pole. During public consultation the plans had been heavily criticized by the anti-toy Goblin Alliance. The Report to Committee had recommended refusal on traffic grounds. But the Applicant submitted an additional last minute Traffic Report to Committee Members that demonstrated his reindeer sleigh would still only be making one journey per year and would have no impact on road traffic as it would continue to fly.The Applicant's agent and Executive Reindeer for European Navigation, Prancer, commented "this is a victory for all boys and girls across the World, and a bitter blow for the naughty Goblin Alliance".Father Christmas was reported as saying "Ho! Ho! Ho!".Monitor traffic impact and track Father Christmas by clicking here. Merry Christmas!
