Health Secretary decision to stall child heart unit reconfiguration - Michelmores' Laurence Vick asks 'will children die or suffer avoidable harm in the meantime?

Laurence Vick and his team are handling a number of cases involving recent operations at Bristol Childrens Hospital as well as the Leeds General Infirmary childrens heart unit which is at the centre of the on-going debate over reconfiguration of paediatric cardiac units. These cases include those in which children tragically died after undergoing surgery or survived having sustained brain damage and other serious injury.

Laurence Vick was lead solicitor to the families at the Bristol Royal Infirmary Public Inquiry resulting in the Kennedy Report published in 2001.
