Sir Bruce Keogh to Meet Bristol Families

NHS Medical Director Responds to Twitter Appeal

Following an appeal on Twitter, NHS England's Medical Director has agreed to 'meet all concerned parents' affected by the recent failings at the Bristol Royal Children's hospital. Steve Turner, father of Sean who died at the unit in 2012, made this request:

Sir Bruce's offer to meet with parents comes as another family, the parents of Harley Pascoe, were revealed to hold concerns about the treatment and death of their son at Bristol after his heart surgery had been repeatedly cancelled.
