Laurence Vick and his team are handling a number of cases involving recent operations at Bristol Childrens Hospital as well as the Leeds General Infirmary childrens heart unit which is at the centre of the on-going debate over reconfiguration of paediatric cardiac units. These cases include those in which children tragically died after undergoing surgery or survived having sustained brain damage and other serious injury.

Laurence Vick was lead solicitor to the families at the Bristol Royal Infirmary Public Inquiry resulting in the Kennedy Report published in 2001. He and his colleagues have significant experience of handling litigation concerning all aspects of paediatric and adult cardiac surgery and related treatment and diagnosis.
