Michelmores announces new Partner and Associate promotions

Michelmores LLP has appointed four new Partners and three new Associates at its Exeter and London offices – bringing the Firm’s partnership to 62.

James Baker, an employment specialist and commercial lawyer, David Thompson, have been promoted from Associate to Partner – a particular accolade having both joined Michelmores as trainees and successfully worked their way up to Partner level.

Angie Maxwell in the Medical Negligence team in Exeter, and Melanie Hughes, a Commercial Property specialist based at Michelmores’ London office, have also been invited to join the partnership.

The new Associates, all based in Exeter, are Crispin Carpenter (Transactional Property), Karen Dunstone (Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency) and Louise Tribble (Residential Conveyancing).  This latest round of promotions boosts the number of Associates at the Firm to 28.

Managing Partner, Malcolm Dickinson said:

“As an ambitious business, we have always had a commitment to recruiting and developing the very best legal talent, and we are delighted to promote this year’s new Associates and Partners, who all carry out very high quality work across a range of specialisms.”

“It is also fantastic to see two of our former trainees, who trained and qualified with us, reach this important milestone in their career.”
