Group B Strep - We Need Better Awareness

Newborn children are particularly vulnerable to the bacteria, which can cause meningitis, septicaemia or pneumonia. The bacteria can be transmitted from mother to baby during childbirth, leaving children vulnerable from the moment they are born.
