Prior to joining Michelmores, Andrew worked in various senior roles in Barclays Bank. As Practice Director at Michelmores, he is now responsible for the operation of the firm, including management of the Business Support Team, comprising the finance, marketing, human resources, training and IT functions. Andrew works closely with the Managing Partner in helping the business attain its financial targets and is actively involved in business planning for effective growth.

Andrew Maynard

Andrew is a former Senior Partner and Marketing Director of Michelmores. In his role as Client Services Director, Andrew is responsible for monitoring the performance and perception of Michelmores with our clients and contacts. His brief is to improve the quality of client service throughout the firm.   

Harry Dawson

As Head of Finance, Harry, along with his team, is responsible for the provision of strategic financial management and the production of financial information for the business. A Chartered Accountant for over 30 years, Harry manages the budgeting and planning processes, and analyses financial results, working closely with the Practice Director. The team's function also includes payroll, and financial reporting to the Partnership.

Simon Clarke

IT and Operations Director - Simon Clarke

Simon heads up the Operations Team at Michelmores which includes IT, communications, facilities and operational support. Initially Simon spent 5 years as Head of IT and introduced a number of technologies including workflow and enhanced electronic file management to the business. Strategically Simon has aligned Michelmores to IT industry standards focusing on business recovery, efficiency, security and compliance in particular.

Louise Edwards

Marketing Director - Louise Edwards

Louise has been involved with law since the early 90's, when she completed her law degree at the University of Exeter.  Louise then qualified with City law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner, before heading to Hong Kong, where she practised law for 3 years.   As Marketing Director, Louise manages a dedicated and fun team of 7,  who together deliver the marketing strategy for the Business, Property and Private Client Groups.  

Colette Stevens

HR Director - Colette Stevens

Colette is responsible for the provision of a fully integrated and effective HR service. Colette and her team advise the partnership on a wide variety of Human Resources issues. Her key areas of responsibility include co-ordinating the firm's acclaimed Associate Development Programme, and managing our accreditation in the 'Best 600 Companies' ranking.

Jeff Nicholls

Head of Business Development - Jeff Nicholls

Jeff is responsible for supporting sector specific business development for the firm. He works closely with Heads of Groups and Sector Partners in identifying new business development opportunities, including cross selling the firm's services to existing clients where appropriate. In his role, Jeff researches, gathers and interprets market intelligence to explore and identify new business prospects. Jeff also provides business planning support and reports to the Practice Director and Head of Marketing.

Theresa Johnston Hill

Operations Manager - Theresa Johnston–Hill

Theresa is responsible for the smooth running of the operations support functions of the firm.  She manages the reception, office assistants, archiving, print room and IT support teams who provide day to day support to Michelmores' staff and clients.  Theresa was the firm's IT Support and Project Manager prior to her current role introducing policy and procedure to ensure best customer service and practice, which she has extended to the operations support teams. 

Andy Heard

Office Manager - Andy Heard

Email

Andy is responsible for facilities services throughout all of Michelmores offices and buildings. He also manages the Café, Care, Security and Cleaning teams and implements the Health and Safety procedures for the firm. Current projects include a complete overhaul of the Disaster Recovery Plan, preparing for some internal building works and organising an internal office move.
