Tile factory scoops prestigious Project of the Year Award
The £40 million British Ceramic Tile factory at Bovey Tracey in Devon, which has become the largest and most efficient of its type in Europe, has won the Michelmores/Western Morning News Commercial Property Award for Project of the Year 2009 Over £3 Million.
The luxurious and environmentally friendly Scarlet Hotel near Newquay became Building of the Year 2009, while Otter Brewery won in the category of Eco Building of the Year for their eco-cellar.
In a glittering awards dinner at Sandy Park stadium, hosted by BBC personality Judi Spiers on behalf of Michelmores Solicitors, the seven award winners were announced to an audience of over 200 commercial property professionals and their guests.
