Property Litigator joins Michelmores

Rob Nicholson joins MichelmoresA highly regarded property litigator has joined the Exeter office of Michelmores LLP.

Rob Nicholson, formerly a partner with Manchester-based Halliwells, is a litigator with a broad spread of specialist commercial property litigation experience.  

39 year-old Mr. Nicholson was brought up and educated in the Westcountry and is glad to have returned to his roots after moving away, first to study in Nottingham and then to qualify and work in Manchester.

He takes over from Michael Langdon as Head of Property Litigation at Michelmores as Michael looks to develop his long-term aim to concentrate on the advisory side of the practice's work, and develop a focus on contentious administrative and planning work alongside the firm's planning team.

David Howe, the Michelmores partner in charge of the firm's 50 strong property team, said: "Rob will lead a team of five and will actively increase its business development focus and profile within the commercial property and development sectors, while extending the scope of Michelmores' specialist litigation work and strengthening the continuity between the property litigation and planning teams."
