Philip Hammond MP addresses business leaders at Michelmores event

Philip Hammond MP, Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury for the Conservatives, addressed senior chief executives recently at Painter's Hall, London. The event was organised by the Business team at Michelmores LLP, a commercial law firm based in Exeter and London.

Stephen Morse, Head of the Business team at Michelmores, said:
"We were delighted to have Philip Hammond at our event. Mr Hammond was able to give our guests an informed insight into Conservative plans for government if they were successful at the next election. He commented on the turbulent and challenging climate that the UK economy and the markets are currently facing; bonus culture; and their regulation and improvement of public sector services."

The guests, consisting of senior executives from across the South West region and London, were able to put their questions to Mr Hammond in an informal environment.
