Exeter and London based law firm Michelmores LLP has recognised the expertise and potential of five of its talented solicitors by appointing them as Associates.

The new Associates are James Baker (Employment), Simon Bean (Commercial Litigation), Michael Bonning (Construction), David Thompson (Intellectual Property) and Jason Phelps (Competition, Procurement and State Aid).

Andrew Lovell, Michelmores Practice Director, said:  "Our ambition is further growth and this requires us to have people in place who are not only exceptional lawyers but also with strong leadership and management skills.

"Our Associate Development Programme, which is now in its third year, is aimed at providing a structured programme to assist the development of the full range of skills which are required to support the achievement of an individual's ambitions and maximise their career potential."

The new appointments increase the number of Michelmores Associates to twenty.
