FOURTEEN lawyers at Exeter law firm Michelmores have endured 30 days of ridicule and discomfort in an attempt to raise as much money as possible for The Prostate Cancer Charity. 

By supporting 'Movember', the worldwide drive to raise awareness of prostate cancer, the 14 individuals have sacrificed dignity by sporting moustaches for the entire month of November.

Organiser Tom Stenner-Evans said: "Movember has attracted sponsorship upwards of £10 million this year, and is especially well followed in Australia and amongst professional firms in the City of London. Unfortunately for the participants at Michelmores, it is less well known in Devon!"

So far the team has raised well over £1000 for the charity, with a number of donations still to come in. All of the staff at Michelmores will now have the opportunity to vote on the best moustache, with the winner being crowned at the beginning of December.

The Michelmores team comprised partners Laurence Vick and Ian Holyoak; practice director Andrew Lovell; associate Tim Davies; solicitors Robert Coram, Tom Stenner-Evans, Ben Howels, Max Nicholls, Kevin Finneran; and business support team members Andy Heard, Phil Sanders and Paul Wynn.
