Michelmores Challenge Cup
The 22nd Michelmores Challenge Cup around Torbay took place on Saturday 15th September with 27 yachts competing in the race hosted by Brixham Yacht Club.

Eagle One won the Blue Riband event taking the Michelmores Cup in ‘New Moon’ ahead of EIC Ltd and LHC Architecture.
The IRC Class went to EIC Ltd in 'Basic Instinct' and the Michelmores Bowl to E&JW Glendinning in 'Impulsive'.
Race organiser and Senior Partner at Michelmores, Will Michelmore said: “In near perfect sailing conditions, we enjoyed another super sailing event where the competition was fierce and the hospitality convivial, to say the least.
"I'd like to thank all the captains and crews for competing in Michelmores' Challenge Cup 2012, Brixham Yacht Club for their race organisation, and St. Austell Brewery and Old Market House for their superb hospitality in the evening."
All the yachts competing made a contribution to the UKSA the charity dedicated to changing lives through personal development and maritime education, raising around £3,000 for the charity.
