Michael joined the clinical negligence team in December 2005. He studied Law at St Catharine's College, Cambridge, was made a scholar in 2004 and graduated in 2005. In addition to his work assisting Laurence Vick, the partner in charge of clinical negligence, Michael is currently training to be a barrister. He is an Astbury Scholar of the Middle Temple and will be called to the Bar in 2008.
Since 2005 Michael has been involved in claimant litigation specialising in clinical negligence and personal injury. He has had experience of high-value claims in the High Court, in particular dealing with paediatric cardiac surgery and brain injury cases. Michael is also keen to undertake advocacy where possible and plans to develop this more fully upon qualification. Michael also combines his legal practice with professional singing as a Lay Clerk in Exeter Cathedral.
