Leisure & Tourism – Health and Safety Issues
Regulatory Advice and Representation
The Health & Safety team specialises in advising and representing a range of businesses that face difficulties with regulatory authorities, such as the Health and Safety Executive and the Environment Agency.
The team has expertise in defending individuals and businesses when such authorities prosecute.
The team will defend or mitigate effectively in all cases, but appreciate the importance of helping a client through a difficult and often worrying time and the need to offer strategic commercial advice which recognises the potential impact of the prosecution and possible conviction upon a client's business.
The team can provide specialist advocates to appear on behalf of clients in the Magistrates Court or represent them when interviewed by the prosecution under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
