Last chance to enter Commercial Property Awards

Entries have now opened for the 8th Annual Michelmores/Western Morning News Commercial Property Awards, the competition recognised as the leader of its kind drawing quality submissions from throughout the South West.

The seven award categories celebrate the significant contribution the commercial property sector makes to the Westcountry economy, and include Projects of the Year over and under £3m, Building of the Year, Heritage Project of the Year, Eco-building of the Year, Project Manager of the Year and the John Laurence Award for Professional Firm of the Year - the latter named after the much respected long-standing judge of the awards who passed away earlier in 2009.

Last year's winners included a sustainable-build business centre in  Okehampton, a housing project on the Isles of Scilly, a restaurant scheme in a converted church and a supermarket.

Entries are opening for the buildings and commercial property projects completed in 2009. The closing date for entry is 12 February 2010, with judging taking place a month later.
