Joe Whitfield - Partner

Joe specialises in international and domestic investment and financing transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and funds (representing both limited and general partners, and also advising on downstream investment activity), corporate finance, and banking transactions. He has more than 15 years' experience representing leading international financial institutions, advising on private equity and other funds, and providing advice for corporations and government agencies on a wide variety of complex cross border transactions in some of the most challenging emerging markets.
Before joining Michelmores' London office, Joe was a partner at a leading international law firm in the City, and before that he was General Counsel of a major development finance institution investing in the emerging markets.
