Michelmores provides a wide range of services to international clients.

We offer:

• A complete corporate and commercial service, both for UK companies with international businesses or interests or foreign companies with UK subsidiaries. We are also able to advise on commercial contracts under English Law, foreign outsourcing and procurement agreements, and international trademark registrations.
• A full advisory service for high net worth foreign nationals and their families, whether they are domiciled in the UK or elsewhere. This may include the setting up and management of tax efficient offshore trusts and other vehicles that may be required to acquire, manage and dispose of property or other family and business assets in the UK or other jurisdictions.
• A specialist international investment and transactions service, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance and banking transactions, and foreign direct investment (both into overseas jurisdictions and the UK). Our corporate team can advise and assist on a wide variety of complex cross-border transactions in some of the most challenging emerging markets.
• An international arbitration and litigation service, experienced at handling substantial multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes.

Our partners are available to meet clients in our London office or elsewhere to explain in more detail the services that we offer and the routes that clients may follow to meet particular requirements. We are presently representing clients based in, or investing in, a number of overseas territories, including amongst others several African jurisdictions (including South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Mauritius and Sierra Leone), China, Finland, India, Ireland, Israel, Pakistan, the UAE and other Middle East territories, Ukraine and the USA.

Membership of the Integrated Advisory Group International

Michelmores is a member of IAG, the Integrated Advisory Group International. This network of lawyers, accountants and tax advisors has members throughout Europe, North and South America and the Middle East, all of whom must demonstrate high standards of professional competence and first class service. Through our memberships of the International Bar Association (IBA) and IAG we have access to trusted colleagues across the globe, enabling us to facilitate foreign counsel and cross-border transactions. We are able to act as a referrer for clients requiring the services of overseas advisers, or can instruct and manage such matters on our clients' behalf.
