Hannah joined Michelmores in 2007. Hannah is experienced in volume debt recovery, and supports a range of businesses in the recovery of debts and deals with disputes arising from non-payment by debtors.
Hannah frequently advises clients on credit control procedures, review of payment terms and conditions, and issues surrounding legal proceedings, including enforcement and insolvency proceedings.
Recent work includes:
- Reviewing and advising on the debt recovery procedures of one of the UK's largest distributor of lottery funds and grants
- High volume recoveries for the UK's leading supplier of land and property search information (relating to both corporate and individual debtors)
- Acting for an educational charity, recovering debts under tri-party local authority funding agreements
- Acting for a commercial leasing company in relation to numerous debt recovery matters
- Training the credit control and finance teams of a large regional company in all aspects of collection techniques and debtor "warning signs"
