Green project scoops ’Blue Riband’ in Commercial Property Awards
A sustainable development with incubation-style business units has scooped the prestigious Project of the Year over £3 million in the seventh annual Michelmores/Western Morning News Commercial Property Awards.
Okehampton Rural Business Centre was nominated by Archial Architects and South West RDA and heads the list of seven winners announced at a Gala Dinner at St. Mellion International Resort last night hosted by TV and Radio personality Judi Spiers.
Other winners included a housing project on the Isles of Scilly, a restaurant scheme in a converted church and a supermarket.
Michelmores' Director of Client Services, Andrew Maynard, said: "Once again we have been treated to a superb competition with entries of real quality and diversity. We can now look forward to some detailed profiles of all the winners in the commercial property pages of the Western Morning News in the forthcoming weeks.
