Good news for Directors
Under recent changes to the Companies Act, directors are now able to prevent their residential address from being placed on the public register by providing an alternative service address.
Michelmores is able to provide you with an alternative service address at our Exeter office: Woodwater House, Pynes Hill, Exeter.
For a fixed fee, we will ask Companies House to remove your residential details from the public register, and replace it with our address.
Michelmores' service includes:
- Initial application to Companies House for removal from the public register
- Checking the public register to ensure the request has been carried out
- Forwarding mail to you
Fees
- £125 p.a. plus VAT for one directorship
- £200 p.a. plus VAT for up to five directorships
- £300 p.a. plus VAT for up to ten directorships
Important: Whilst your address will be removed from the public register, all documentation detailing your residential address that has previously been filed with Companies House will remain open for inspection by the general public.
Single Alternative Inspection Location
A company may now also keep its records for public inspection at a single alternative inspection location (SAIL), rather than at the company's registered office, provided Companies House is notified. For a fee of £150 p.a. plus disbursements and VAT, we can provide a SAIL and notify Companies House of this change.
Company Secretarial Service
For a fixed fee of £400 p.a. plus disbursements and VAT, we also offer a company secretarial service. We will ensure that all routine documentation, including the annual return, is filed at Companies House, we will maintain the statutory books and use our Exeter office as the company's registered office.
