Licensed insolvency practitioner (non appointment taker).
Gillian has practised as a specialist insolvency solicitor since 1985 and has enjoyed a wide variety of practice including responsibility for two substantial Government contracts. She has considerable experience of work arising under the Company Directors Disqualification Act and was involved in a number of substantial cases on behalf of the Insolvency Service including Re CS Holidays, Re Imperial Board Products Ltd and Re Frametech Ltd. She was also involved in collateral issues in respect of the reported cases Walker v Walker and Re Unigregg.
She has advised upon a substantial number of interesting personal insolvency cases including a recent case under the 1914 Act, cases involving the recovery of foreign assets, and obtaining injunctive relief.
