Energy from Waste – Opportunities in Anaerobic Digestion
Date: 15 October, 22 October and 12 November 2009
Time: 10.30am-2pm
Cost: Free
A practical seminar providing guidance on all aspects of anaerobic digestion, hosted by Michelmores Solicitors, Clydesdale Bank and Old Mill Accountants.
Two of the Government's key objectives are to secure the coutnry's energy supply and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2050. Renewable energy is central to achieving these objectives.
Anaerobic Digestion (AD) is a renewable technology being actively promoted by the Government. It converts waste to energy, providing you with your own electricity and heat supply. It also attracts grants and produces saleable energy certificates.
There are thousands of AD plants in Europe, but less than 20 in England. The technology is about to take off and those who get into the market now will benefit the most.
This series of free seminars brings together leading local experts on finance, funding and legal issues. They are joined by a guest specialist at each venue to provide practical advice and guidance on all aspects of AD.
Seminars take place on:
15 October - Bicton Arena, Devon
22 October - Royal Bath & West Showground
12 November - Royal Cornwall Showground
