- Advising on the sale and purchase of carbon credits for voluntary offsetting as well as compliance purposes, and preparing and negotiating the relevant contractual documentation
- Advising on a district heating scheme for a mixed commercial and residential development scheme
- Advising on the interpretation of emissions trading and carbon reduction commitment rules and regulations, and the interplay between FITs and ROCs
- Advising on a number of leases relating to a commercial offshore windfarm with 30 turbines which generate up to 60MW
- Advising a wind power generation company on its fundraising rounds and intellectual property rights
- Acting on a number on anaerobic digester installations, including funding (through the WRAP Programme) construction aspects, IP protection, planning and implementation
- Drafting and advising on an unsecured 'community bond' which aimed to raise up to £1m for a wind farm operator - the first of its kind in the UK
- Acting on the sale of an onshore wind farm project in the UK
- Advising on biomass projects in the UK
