Denise was formally Head of Legal and Personnel at Mid Devon District Council and has a comprehensive knowledge of local government law.
She has acted for a number of local authorities in relation to planning matters since joining Michelmores in July 2005. This work has included advice with regard to enforcement matters in relation to a listed building, advising on Certificates of Lawful Development, drafting and issuing Enforcement Notices and planning contravention notices, the negotiation and preparation of Section 106 Agreements and general planning advice.
Denise also has extensive experience in the areas of planning, statutory nuisance, freedom of information and data protection issues.
