About the Michelmores Charity Run
The Michelmores Charity Run is a 5K run in Exeter. First established in 2000, the run has raised over £200,000 for local good causes to date.
This popular event attracts over 1000 runners each year. Runners begin at the Quay in Exeter, finishing at the Double Locks some way down the canal, where they can recover and socialise!
Charities benefitting from the run over the years have included ELF, the Devon Air Ambulance Trust, CLIC Sargent and Hospiscare. Donations have also gone to Surestart, Ollie's Fund and the Express & Echo's We Care Campaign.
This is an important event in Michelmores' CSR programme but one that is not possible without very generous sponsorship of the business community and the willingness of so many to enter, run for and raise funds for our good causes.
