Cathy is a solicitor in the public sector property department at Michelmores. She joined Michelmores in September 2002 having read Jurisprudence at Christ Church, Oxford and previously qualified in London with Taylor Joynson Garrett (now Taylor Wessing). She also has experience working in-house at a well known PLC.
She has considerable experience both in terms of general property and development work acting for the public sector, including central government departments, local authorities and non departmental public bodies. She deals with all aspects of commercial property (freehold and leasehold) for both private and public sector bodies. Cathy has particular expertise in dealing with complex titles (registered and unregistered) and providing property support to development projects as well as general estate management for a central government agency, providing property legal advice and dealing with licences to assign, alter and underlet.
