Alan joined the firm in 1967 and after a two year period in residential conveyancing is now a specialist in Ecclesiastical Law as it applies to the Church of England. This includes the operation of the faculty system which applies to churches instead of the secular Listed Building Consent provisions, the law relating to Marriage, Burial, Ecclesiastical property, Clergy and the Synodical system of Church Government.
